Job description

As Team Lead for Account Management United Kingdom/Nordic, you will manage and support a team of six to eight Account Managers and Customer Success Managers, focused on serving our business-to-business clients across the United Kingdom and Nordic countries. 

 

Your main responsibility is to empower your team to deliver outstanding customer experiences that drive satisfaction, retention, and sustainable growth. You will play a key role in shaping and executing our customer success strategy - coaching your team, building strong client relationships, and ensuring customers realize the full value of the Trusted Shops SaaS solutions. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced, international environment where your impact will be visible and meaningful.  

 

The position is based in Amsterdam and follows a hybrid work model, requiring three days per week in the office and offering the flexibility to work remotely for two days. 

  • Lead, manage and coach a team of 2 Account Managers and 5 Customer Success Managers located across Europe through regular coaching, 1:1s, and team meetings. 

  • Drive customer success strategies by creating tailored success plans and conducting joint business reviews to ensure clients achieve their goals. 

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Support teams to deliver a seamless, top-tier customer experience. 

  • Enhance customer satisfaction and retention by implementing innovative processes and continuous improvements. 

  • Champion professional growth and learning within the team, staying on top of industry trends and fostering a culture of development. 

Job requirements

  • Fluent English (C2) and a Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Business or Commercial Administration. 

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial roles, focusing on customer retention, expansion, and business development — especially in the UK market (Nordics is a plus). 

  • 3+ years of team leadership experience, with a strong track record in building high-performance teams. 

  • SaaS or e-commerce background preferred, with knowledge of customer success, tools like Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, and e-commerce platforms like Magento or PrestaShop. 

  • Strong communication, analytical, and multitasking skills, with flexibility to travel across Europe frequently.
